
The Town of Fort White is operated by a Town Council and Mayor form of government. The Town Council is also designated as the oversight and leadership required to establish policies that guide the direction of the Town and ensure the optimum delivery of services to residents in the most cost-effective manner possible.
The Town Council is designated and established as the Local Planning Agency of the Town of Fort White, Florida.
The Town Council consists of (5) five electors that are designated as: Mayor; Council Member, District 1; Council Member, District 2; Council Member, District 3; and Council Member, District 4. All are elected for a term of (4) four years.
